About ME

i quit college to purse my passion.

I was enrolled at Cal State Fullerton College for four years before deciding to take a chance on myself. I was attending CSUF to become a third grade teacher. That was always my dream growing up.

It wasn’t until I was hired on as a receptionist when i was nineteen years old while attending school that I discovered the Salon Industry. It wasn’t love at first sight for me. I grew up a tomboy and had fashion sense or beauty skills at all. I felt really out of place to be honest.

But what i did fall in love with was how the salon had a way to help women feel beautiful and inspired again. I would see women walk in feeling down and defeated and after their hair appointment they walked out with the biggest smile walking tall with a crown on their head. That’s when I decided, I want to be the one to make them feel confident and radiant again.

At twenty four years old, i dropped out of CSUF with fear under my belt and enrolled in Cosmetology School. I’ve had my license now since 2012 and what an adventure it has been. I started my career as an assistant to two of the best mentors a girl can ask for. I learned everything about the business and how to meet the expectations of clients.

I’ve worked at a few different salons as a commission stylist and even ran my own Sola Suite for five years! I’m now settled in at a salon in Tustin, Ca, Christopher Perry Salon. After moving to the Irvine area in 2019, I walked into the salon and asked if they were hiring. Ever since then, they have taken me under their wing.

That’s my history behind becoming a hairstylist. I’ve discovered my niche in the industry and have loved growing my dream clientele! I’ve honed in on my true self as a natural gal who doesn’t like, or may be a bit afraid, of too much change and have adapted a clientele of like minded women!

It’s where I started to thrive with the concept of the Subtle Balayage. A style that is very natural in it’s nature but still gives you a fresh new look that we all secretly crave.
